Dr. Emmalee Maracle M.Sc, ND

Naturopathic Doctor

I’m Dr. Emmalee ND and I’m on a mission to help you better understand your body, feel confident in your healthcare decisions, and take an active role in your health journey.

I’m passionate about helping bridge the gap in women’s healthcare and I believe that starts with understanding the why behind your symptoms. Through a personalized, evidence-informed approach to women’s hormonal health, my goal is to look beyond the symptoms, make space for deeper investigations and identify the factors that may be holding you back from feeling your best. I help women feel empowered with the knowledge and support they need to advocate for their health and long-term wellness and ultimately to the life they want to live.

I take an integrative approach to healthcare, combining the principles of naturopathic medicine with current research and collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. I have also done additional training in hormonal health and have prescribing rights for hormone replacement therapy and thyroid medication.

My special interests include women’s hormonal health (perimenopause and menopause, irregular periods, PMS, PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, etc.) metabolic health and weight management.

I earned my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph. My educational background has shaped my interest in the relationship between nutrition, physiology and the foundational factors that influence our health.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find me spending time with family and friends on Georgian Bay, walking my dog, travelling, or experimenting in the kitchen.
